2 | The Students of 2014&2015 admission participated in a Conference on “Soft Tissue Rheumatism” organized by Punarnava Ayurveda Trust, Coimbatore at Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Healing Village, Thirumalayampalayam, Coimbatore. Dr. Sumam E, Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna Vijnaanam and Dr. Suchith MS, Associate Professor, Department of Salyatantra lead the team. |

3 | The House Surgeons, 3rd Year and 4th Year students participated in a CME programme, “Pradeepta”, organized by Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College, Kothamangalam. It was an enlightening seminar by eminent clinicians and academicians from different streams of Ayurveda focussing on various clinical aspects, diagnosis and its management. |
4 | Dr. G. Nagabhushanam, Principal along with the Management representatives attended the “National Conference on educational administration and excellence of ISM” convened by CCIM at JN Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. |
5 | The final year students of Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College visited the Government Ayurveda research institute for mental diseases, Kottakkal on 11th January 2019 for additional exposure in the diagnosis and management of various mental diseases and also to learn about preventive mental health, stress management and role of life style modifications in treating mental disorders. |
6 | As per the request of the DMO ISM, Palakkad, the 3rd year students of our college were deputed to attend Balamukulam medical camp organised by ISM palakkad, at Govt. UP school meenakshipuram on 24th January 2019. Balamukulam health scheme is implemented with the aim of improving school children’s physical and mental health through Ayurveda. Regular medical camps and screening programmes are conducted predominently aiming respiratory, digestive, skin, learning and lifestyle disorders. Medications, yoga therapy, counselling are provided by experts. The students from class one to seven benefitted from this programme. |

Nagabhushanam, Principal Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College along with the management representatives attended the “ National conference on educational administration and excellence of ISM” convened by CCIM held on 21st - 22nd January 2019 at J N Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. |

9 | Prajnanam 2019 - National Seminar on Infertility through Ayurveda : The Seminar organized by Amrita School of Ayurveda, Vallikkavu, Kollam was insightfull with the presentations and discussions on principles, evaluations, practices and various solutions by many researchers and experts in the field of male and female infertility. Dr. G. Nagabhushanam, Principal, chaired a session of paper presentation on “conceptual studies related to infertility”. He was also a resource person for the “Paarayana Competition”. The faculties; Dr. Amritha MR, Dr. Anjali S, and Dr. Kiran K Prasad participated in this seminar as resource persons. Our final year and third year students participated in the Paarayana competition conducted as part of the seminar and won third place in the group event. |
10 | The students and staff of our collegeparticipated in International Ayush Conclav held at Nishagandhi Auditorium, Thiruvanthapuram. As part of the conclave, a four day Health Expo was conducted at the Sooryakanthi Ground and our College exhibited a Stall under the them “Rasasasthra & Bhishajakalpana”. |
